Try holding the Stop key and the D key down then turn the machine on and
hold these two keys down untill you see " setting diag-switch" and then
restart the machine and it might let you know what is wrong with the
machine.

What does boot -rvs do?

  - Reconfigure devices.
  - Be verbose.
  - Boot into single user mode.
